Anamika to release in December
Sekhar Kammula’s next film, Anamika, is nearing completion. The film
starring Nayanthara will release in December, say the sources. Anamika
is a remake of Hindi superhit film, Kahaani. Vidya Balan who played the
central protagonist received rave reviews for her performance and ever
won awards. Nayan is about to portray the same role in Telugu.
The music for the film has been composed by M M Keeravani and the first look will be out in the second half of November.
Sekhar Kammula, who rose to fame with his directorial s like Anand and Happy Days, will once again test waters with Anamika. This would be the first time he has ever made a remake. His last film, Life is Beautiful, failed to create the much needed impact at Box Office.
Nayanthara, who won a National Award for her outstanding performance in Sri Rama Rajyam, will once again play a very meaty role, vital to her career.
Anamika is a bilingual project and will be released in Tamil as well.
