Shriya Saran’s likely to work with Bala
Hot and sexy Shriya Saran has been off the grid playing the leading lady on screen. She was a sensation of 2000s, making hearts flutter with her killer looks, sculpted figure and adorable performance opposite superstars like megastar Chiranjeevi. Shriya, however, slowly sank with her success quotient later as other ladies took over the competition. Though not completely off the filmy zone, Shriya is spotted every now and then in Tamil and Telugu, sometimes doing item numbers, sometimes playing the leading lady and sometimes walking ramps with those heavy fashion labels on for the top designers of the Country.
The latest to the dancing diva who has excelled in Kathak is that she
will most likely work with Bala, the reputed director of Kollywood who
made films like Paradesi, Vaadu Veedu and Nenu Devudini. Though the
exact nature of the role is not known, Shriya is said to be in talks to
land the role of a heroine, as per the sources. The project that has
Sasikumar playing the leading man and music maestro Ilayaraja composing
music, Shriya can see a change of things for her if the role
materializes.
In the meantime, Shriya will be seen in Akkineni’s next prestigious
family drama Manam directed by Vikram Kumar, as the lady opposite
Nagarjuna. Everybody fondly remembers what a cute couple they made in
Dasarath’s Santhosham many years ago. The combo sure works. The film
will release on March 31st.
