Tamil flick ‘Jilla’ shoot in the City

The much awaited film for Kollywood, Jilla, is now concluding production and the crew is currently in Hyderabad, shooting for the song sequences. The film stars Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the leads. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be seen playing a very prominent role, head to head with Vijay in the film.
The movie is a story that revolves around a gangster group in Madurai. Mohanlal plays the chief and Vijay his ultimate successor. Kajal plays a local Madurai girl and Vijay’s love interest.

Jilla is directed by Nesan. Produced by R B Chaudhary under Super Good Movies, this would be the first time ever Mohanlal will play an in depth role in a Tamil film. Working with Vijay, the two have developed deep brotherly bonding while the making of the film.
Kajal will be seen on screen after a long gap. A special song featuring Scarlett Wilson is being shot. The movie is said to be a January 2014 release, and will be dubbed in Telugu.
