Soon after the announcement confirming Gurajat chief minister Narendra
Modi as the BJP's prime ministerial candidate in 2014 pools, Party's
Tamilnadu unit president Pon Radhakrishnan opined this is the best time
for Rajinikanth to step into politics by offering a helping hand to
anti-Congress party. Feelers has been sent to the Superstar by BJP in
the this regard.
BJP is yet to make is presence felt in Tamilnadu. The National party feels Modi's magic doesn't alone translate into voted in the state and star power is required for creating much bigger impact. Modi has been targeting the youth and he believes they are the ones who could change the fate of the country.
