'Jagadekaveeruni Katha' A Great Fantasy

Nataratna NT Ramarao starrer fantasy entertainer 'jagadekaveeruni katha' movie was released on 9th August, 1961. This movie stood as a blockbuster at the box office then. Glamour queen B.Saroja Devi, dancing star L.Vijayalakshmi, Jayanthi and Bala romanced with NTR in this movie. Incidentally, half of the hit credit was attributed to the beauty of B.Saroja in the film. She appeared ravishing in the getup of devakanya in the movie. Especially, her dialogue delivery and voice appeared so cute and you keep listening to her dialogues even for hours.  Pendyala Nageswara Rao's tunes for this movie turned great hits and they are heard even today quite frequently. Songs such as 'Siva shankaree', 'O chelee', 'Jalakaalaatalalo', 'Varinchi vachchina', 'Raa raa kanaraaraa', 'Adi Lakshmi vanti', 'Mamu dayaganumaa' etc. were great hits.
