Trisha in Ajith’s 55th Movie
Here’s the latest piece of news hurled out of the rumor mill –
Trisha Krishnan, the stunning starlet who just celebrated her 31st
birthday, has said yes to play an important role in the upcoming Gautham
Menon – Ajith movie titled Thala 55 by the fans!
For almost the entirety of last month, the news that Trisha might be a part of the hugely anticipated flick kept making the rounds until the lack of confirmation from credible sources laid it to rest. While Anushka Shetty has been confirmed as the lead female actress, Trisha was reported to have been offered an equally important role.
Trisha, of course, has worked with both Gautham and Ajith in the past in successful films like Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and Mankatha, and the fans speculated she has no reason to say no.
Now, it looks like they were prophetic in their predictions as the latest reports indicate, the actress has given her green signal to the project after sorting out her dates and schedule.
Thala 55, has other buzz magnets in place as well – it being the reuniting project of Gautham and Harris Jayaraj after their falling out a few years back. Dan Macarthur handles the cinematography for the film.
The project began with a low key function last month and started filming soon after. Thala Ajith sports a new look in the film as a dashing cop with close cut, signature salt n pepper hair and the plot is said to be action packed with of course, touches of romance, music and drama.
It was also rumored initially that the project might be called ‘Aayiram Thottakal’ meaning quite ominously a 1000 bullets.
