The concept of plagiarism and copyright infringement has picked up quite strongly these days but there was a time when every piece of talent was lifted and shifted without any issues. Here is a classic example for that. The hit movie 'Nuvve Nuvve' struck a chord with the audience and the key reason for that was the songs

The tunes were composed by Koti and number is 'Niddura pothunna...'. Well, if you thought this was an original creation from this talented music maker then you are mistaken. The song happens to be an exact replica from the golden black and white Hindi classic 'Tu kahan yeh bata…maane na mera dil deewana..'.

This is from the 1963 movie 'Tere Ghar Ke Saamne' starring the evergreen hero Dev Anand and the graceful Nutan. 'Nuvve Nuvve' came in the year 2002 which is almost 40 years after the release of the Hindi movie. Another song that goes by "I'm very sorry" in the same flick is quite close to the tune, Shakira's super hit number 'Whenever Wherever'. Well, as long as the songs are enjoyed by all, such things don't matter but it does feel good when we hear something original.
