How Old Are You official trailer out!
The Rosshan Andrrews movie How Old Are You, serving as the hugely
anticipated comeback movie of Manju Warrier after a long 14 years of
retirement, released its official full length trailer today! And not
just that – according to reports, the flick will come out on May 23!
So here’s the gist of the Manju Warrier –Kunchacko Boban starrer’s trailer:
The clip opens with Nirupama Rajeev (Manju) sitting in a room guarded by armed men in uniform and the narration (in her voice) says tomorrow is the day that decides what course the rest of her life will take. In fact, the entire trailer focuses on a coming day and a dream of Nirupama that has to be fulfilled.
The 36 year old mother and wife works as a UD clerk and different interactions with others, set to light hearted but spirited music, shows her facing society’s preconceptions of women after a certain age. Prejudices regarding abilities and employment opportunities are spelt out along with issues of relationships and further ambitions. The voice over declares in between that youth resides in one’s mind.
Rajeev (Kunchacko), her husband, seems skeptical and generally disapproving of Nirupama’s mysterious dream and her general attitude. But then the tone shifts to one of hope and triumph, accompanied by the background score and we hear Kaniha’s character say that your legacy is your dream. Nirupama’s own voice speaks about leaving a mark in the world and hints of a golden opportunity arriving that has something to do with a marathon/run are given to the fans.
There are shots of Nirupama running for training and in an event of some kind.
Overall, the movie has the vibes of a ‘feel good’ drama and sure looks like a worthy and apt movie for the talented actress’s return to the big screen.
