1 by Two Releases Tomorrow – Finally!
Yes! After a lot of delays and with Mollywood fans waiting in
anticipation, the Fahad Fazil starrer 1 by Two, directed by Arun Kumar
Aravind, is releasing tomorrow on April 19th!
The movie, which is an investigative thriller, has Fahad playing a cop for the first time, as C I Yousuf Marakkar who is charged with the investigation of a tragedy in a Bangalore hospital. Abhinaya, of Nadodikal fame, plays his wife Raziya.
Honey Rose portrays the character of Dr. Prema and Murali Gopy plays Dr. Hari. A steamy liplock scene between the two in the teaser trailer had turned a few heads and started the buzz surrounding the movie early on.
The plot revolves around the investigation and its effects on the characters.
With Fahad’s successful track record and loyal fan following, the movie is one of the most awaited ones this season and the disappointment of Mammootty’s Gangster means the game is wide open at this point in terms of box office collections. The year seems to be good for thrillers in general, with Prithviraj’s 7th Day also getting positive responses from the fans.
Fahad is also in the spotlight right now because his movie North 24 Kaatham just won a national award, not that the thriving young star needs the added feather in his cap.

The script is an original one by Jayamohan and the film itself is being produced by B. Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinema.
