Main Tera Hero, starring Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis
Fakhri collected a whopping 22 crores in the opening weekend at Box
Office. Despite the ongoing T20 cricket series, the movie broke the
records off sorts to collect the highest in the recent times.
Trade Analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted – “Friday collection – Rs 6.6 cr, Saturday – Rs 8.03 Cr and Sunday – Rs 8.10 cr totalling to Rs 22.73 cr.
The film that brought back David Dhawan’s magical touch, saw Varun Dhawan dazzle as Seenu in the film, getting loads of applause from all quarters.
The king of Comedy David Dhawan managed to bring in a blockbuster welcoming the summer vacation spree with the Indian Middle Class.
The film is expected to do well in the coming two weekends, going by the frenzy counting collections at the Box Office. Right from the multiplexes to the other centres, Main Tera Hero is declared to be a commercial blockbuster hit this year.

The remake rights of the film which is a repeat of Tollywood super hit Kandireega was bought by producer Ekta Kapoor for a whopping 2 crores – a deal which was worth in every sense, going by the figures!
