Mohanlal’s Vishu on Koothara Set!
Mohanlal celebrated Vishu on location for the movie Koothara,
directed by Sreenath Rajendran and written by Vini Vishwa Lal under the
banner of Marikkar Productions.
Lal is rumoured to play a villain role in the movie – a first for him in a long time, and if the look of the character, as seen on this candid photo of the universal star having his Vishu lunch on the set, is any indication – the fans definitely have something different to look forward to.
The film started getting the proverbial buzz right after its beautiful poster was shortlisted for an international award. Mohanlal is supposedly accompanied by a canine companion in the flick, which is being shot mostly at Lakshadweep.
Bharath, Tovino Thomas, Janani Iyer, Sunny Wayne, Gauthami Nair and others form the supporting cast in this motion picture. Gopi Sunder is composing the soundtrack and the tunes for the movie.
Lal’s Mr. Fraud finished shooting yesterday in Jaipur as promised by the director B. Unnikrishnan and is set to release in May. The superstar is not done, as the shooting for his other upcoming project Peruchazhi, co-starring with Mukesh, starts today. He plays a politician who lands in deep trouble in hilarious fashion when sent to the United States knowing little to no English.
With Mr. Fraud claiming the tagline “One man, many faces”, and the distinctly non glamorous look in Koothara, Mohanlal is definitely putting his versatility to test this year.
