Voter asks Chiru to stand in line to vote

Megastar Chiranjeevi may be the star on all fronts but he was told to follow discipline yesterday by a common man yesterday. This happened when the Union Minister and Congress leader tried to walk past the line of voters standing in queue. The actor turned politician apparently thought it was okay to do so being a celebrity. However, Chiru was immediately stopped by a voter who asked him to stand in the queue if he wanted to vote. The voter did not stop there and reproached the Megastar saying that he cant have special treatment in the polling center just because he was a celebrity and an important person.

The megastar quietly obliged and stood in the queue along with wife Surekha, son Ram Charan Tej and other family members who came in to vote at a polling booth in the posh Jubilee Hills area.
The Mega family started walking into the polling booth as somebody in the polling office invited them inside. The line was long as the day opened for the polling in Telangana and many civilians made their way in the early hours of morning to vote.

While Hyderabad recorded a pathetic percentage of 53 with the votes, the Telangana as a whole performed impressively well with a 72 percent voting happening all over. People were proactive to vote especially in the areas like Warangal, Nizamabad and Nalgonda. The Telangana formation sure has upped the levels of optimism for a better governance this side of the world.
