Gunasekhar’s next talked about movie in the offing, Rudramadevi, is not
just about the gigantic image of Anushka Shetty reprising the role of a
warrior queen. The movie has more to it than even the lavish sets,
exorbitant costumes and 3D effects – its star studded starcast.
The film has been progressing on time with shooting in Hyderabad an some
vital scenes have been shot on actors and stars like Krishnam Raju,
Suman, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj, Catherine Tresa and item girl
Hamsanandini. Looking at this elaborate casting, we assume that Guna
wants to show the best of people in the best of roles. Although the 3D
effects are still being tested with both the positives and the negatives
coming out to be the result, Guna is confident that his film will be an
opus to watch and talk about once complete.
The movie also has some star names in the technical segment – Maetsro Ilayaraja composing the music, ace cinematographer Ajay Vincent for those effects and Thota Tharani for Art direction – everything best has been invested into this major project. Rana Daggunati plays the male lead in the film along with Anushka.
