Indian Postal Service releases ANR Stamp

Grieving the loss of one of the acting legends in the Indian Cinema, Indian Postal Service released a 5 rupee stamp of Akkineni Nageswara Rao as a tribute to one of the finest actors that ever lived on screen.
ANR’s loss has left many film lovers and peers in the film fraternity heartbroken. The man who made his mark for over 7 decades in Telugu films was more than a great actor – he was also a mentor, philosopher, guide and a role model of millions of people who loved films. ANR’s principles in life were well revered. He was a shining and perfect example of a good human being.
This is definitely a deserving dedication in the loving memory of an immortal star by Indian Postal Service.
