Bubbly-girl Taapsee with shades of grey!
The vibrant, bubbly and charming girl Taapsee who is known for her glamorous roles, has been cast for a negative role in her upcoming Tamil movie!
This role seems to be breaking the stereotypical image of Taapsee who is usually cast to contribute significantly to the glamour quotient of her movies.
Directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, this movie will show Taapsee in never-seen-before Avatar.
Talking about her role, in a recent event, Taapsee said, “I must thank Aishwarya Dhanush for trusting me and offering me such an interesting role. I think we all have grey shades and this role has given me a chance to explore all that.”
Having shifted her base from Hyderabad to Mumbai, it has been a long time since Taapsee signed a Telugu film.
She only has Raghava Lawrence’s Muni 3 lined up for release later this year.
It remains to be seen whether Taapsee is able to capitalise on this role or fall flat in her attempts to break the stereotype she’s into.
