Anushka Sharma turns producer

Actress Anushka Sharma will now turn producer with her first film, NH 10, that will be co produced by Eros International and Phantom Films. Anushka will also be featuring in this action thriller about a road trip that takes a sudden twist and a series of events follow.
To be directed by Navdeep Singh, the film is of prime excitement to Anushka, who is thrilled about her stint into production.

Confirming the news, said Sunil Lulla, managing director, Eros International Media Ltd – “The film is an exciting collaboration with Anushka and Phantom and we are happy to associate with this talented team. NH 10 promises to be an interesting journey and we are looking forward to supporting and nurturing such strong content driven films”

Sharma, who made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is super excited – “I’m doubly thrilled about NH 10 as its a superb role and it also kick starts this new phase in my film journey” she said. The actress is busy shooting for her next project, Bombay Velvet, produced by Phantom Films.
“This is my second film after Bombay Velvet with Phantom, and it’s a blast working with them. It’s going to be super exciting working together again on what promises to be an explosive film” said the 25 year old actress.
Meanwhile, the actress, rumored to be in a relationship with Virat Kohli accepted to the fact on National Television on Koffee with Karan. Anushka’s recent cosmetic makeover with unusual lip job raised many eye brows all over as she spoke on the show. It remains to be seen as to how the actress fares with her stint as a producer.
