Ajmal Fired from 7th Day!

In shocking manner, actor Ajmal Ameer has been kicked out of the cast of Prithviraj starrer 7th day directed by Shyam Dhar. The actor who was publicised as being in the ensemble cast of the crime thriller set out to be released on April 11th in an important role is no longer in the movie which already has fans talking with its teaser trailer. The movie gained attention also due to Prithviraj’s new, mature look in it.
Ajmal claims that initially when the story was pitched to him, he was promised a role of equal importance along with Prithviraj, with some fight sequences – most of which were cut when the actual shooting started. This forced him to cancel his contract with the project and leave the much awaited film on his own volition.


However, the director states that the reasons for Ajmal to be fired was that while his scenes with Prithviraj were well synced, his other important scenes with some actors including Tovino Thomas left much to be desired for.
The young star who took the spotlight first in the Mohanlal starrer Madampi (2008) and ventured with little commercial success in to Kollywood later, is now looking forward to other projects.
