Nagma to contest for Congress Party

This sure seems to be the season for films marrying politics. While all eyes are on Power Star Pawan Kalyan today, who is about to launch his party Janasena in the midst of huge fan following and critics alike, another celeb who will soon contest for Politics is none other than yesteryear actress Nagma.
The hot leading lady of Tollywood way back will now contest with a ticket for Congress party from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Nagma had earlier applied for contesting from North Mumbai, but that was declined by the Election Commission. The actress who is still very much in demand in places like Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and UP has good chance thanks to her presence in the Bhojpuri film galore.

Nagma, who acted in films like Gharana Mogudu with the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi in the 90′s took a slow sabbatical afterwards to focus on her personal life. She returned in the recent times to feature in Bhojpuri films.
