Priyanka, Hrithik shake a leg with John Travolta!
It takes some fortune and destiny to stand along with somebody
like John Travolta, the original Hollywood’s dancing star who
sensationalised some crazy moves with the cult epic, Grease. Now, the
lucky woman who finally got to do the act was none other than Priyanka
Chopra. IIFA makes things possible.
On the grand Awards night at IIFA 2014, the world saw with bated bre
ath as Priyanka Chopra danced with Travolta for an out and out mass number from the film Gunday. The song ‘Tu Ne Mari Entriyan’ took a whole new tangent when Priyanka playfully pulled Travolta on to the stage and both danced.
The Hollywood hunk got all the moves right, thanks to his great appetite for dance still undying from within. The audience went rapt when East met the West and Bollywood earned a new milestone with the Gangs of LA.
And if you thought that was it, John went a step ahead and danced with Hrithik Roshan for Staying Alive, making the BeeGees totally come alive. This happened when Travolta went on stage to collect an Award for his Outstanding Contribution to International Cinema. Kevin Spacey was another surprise element, when he did the Lungi Dance with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. This, wearing the actual Lungis!
This was a perfect award ceremony that became global and brought the Bollywood stars to the attention of Hollywood. So don’t be surprised if you see either Hrithik or PC starring in one of the Hollywood films soon!
