“Anushka and I share a special bond” – Ranveer Singh
Actors Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma’s on screen chemistry had
youngsters going ‘awww’ over it! Also, their alleged relationship was
the talk of the town for over 3 years.
Ranveer and Anushka first appeared together in ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, which was huge hit at the box office! They later starred together in ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’.
Later, after their alleged break-up , they were said to be not even on talking terms with each other
But now, director Zoya Akhtar has managed to get them together again for her next, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.
When quizzed about his take on the camaraderie he shares with Anushka, this is what Ranveer had to say:
“Yes… we are in touch with each other. We share a very healthy relationship. I believe Anushka is one of the best young actors in our country. She is incredibly talented and we work well together. I share special chemistry with her. I am excited to work with her again as it has been a long gap since we worked together.”
“I was waiting for the next opportunity where I will get to work with her again as we worked well together in our previous films. She hasn’t been part of prep process as she got back from shooting of ‘NH 10′,” said Ranveer when asked about how he feels about being cast opposite Anushka again.
When asked about his take on Anushka’s debut production venture, he said, “I am very proud of the fact that she is the youngest producer in Hindi film industry. I know little about ‘NH 10′, I know it is going to be a fantastic film,” Ranveer said.
‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ will see Ranveer and Anushka as a couple, while Ranveer and Priyanka Chopra will play siblings. It also features Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah.
