A popular news daily reported that Ranveer Singh is playing Deepika Padukone’s husband in Homi Adajania’s upcoming film, Finding Fanny Fernandez. However, it is a cameo appearance.
Now rumour has it that Deepika is planning to host a special screening exclusively for Ranveer.
“Deepika Padukone saw the film while dubbing her lines and she is quite impressed with the way Homi has directed the film. It’s completely in English and has a refreshing feel to it.” , said a source.
After watching the film, she decided to organise a private screening for her reel-life husband and real-life boyfriend and requested the production team to arrange the same sometime later next month.
“Ranveer hasn’t seen even the rushes of the film. He is going away on a cruise in Europe to shoot for Zoya Akhtar’s next film, while Deepika intends to go on a family vacation in the US. They will get to see each other only around June, unless of course, Deepika drops by to say a quick hello to Ranveer. That is why Deepika has planned the screening in advance. She wants him to see the film as soon as he returns.”, added the source.
Well well well. It thereby remains to be seen if the plans of Deepika’s Movie Date do go ahead as planned or there would be hinderances in the same.
