Fahad Fazil Missing in Action?
No…Not in real life, of course – but in his upcoming movie Siva
Ganga Film Factory. For the second time, Fahad will don the role of an
actor on screen. Yes, he plays an actor who goes missing from the
location of the set of one of his films whilst at the peak of his
career. He had played an actor in the movie Best of Luck before.
There are other rumors flying around about the plot that make it even more interesting – that the plot is loosely based on the events surrounding the tragic death of actor yesteryear Malayalam superstar Jayan!
The reports suggest that Fahad will be playing a struggling actor who is chosen to replace Jayan after his sudden accidental death and later becomes a star in his own right. Then mysteriously, he vanishes during the filming of one of his movies and the story unravels from there.
The movie has been written and will be directed by Babu Janardhanan. Gopi Sunder will compose the tunes and set to music the lyrics composed by Anu Elizabeth and Arun Gopinath. Aravind Krishna and Arun James are the cinematographers.
Isha Talwar, Sreenivasan, Lena and others from the supporting cast. Interestingly, in the Sreenivasan starrer satirical comedy, Padmashree Dr. Saroj Kumar, Fahad had played a director on screen.
The shooting of the movie is set to start in September after Fahad’s much talked about and awaited wedding with actress Nazriya Nazim which is to happen in August.
