Mammootty cooks for Manglish crew!
Though Mohanlal is the known foodie, megastar Mammootty isn’t
holding back on his love for good food either; in fact, he cooked for
and personally served the entire cast and crew of his current movie
Manglish, at the location!
Mammootty prepared with his own hands, the famous Thalassery style Mutton Biriyani and not only that – served from the big vessel, the steaming hot dish to the long line of hungry and rather thrilled cast and crew of the flick.
Manglish tells the story of a fish merchant played by Mammukka, whose ignorance of the English language does not stop him from using it anywhere he pleases, though it often lands him in trouble. The crux of the story is the relationship or rather the friendship that blooms between him and a foreign tourist girl from the Netherlands played by Caroline Bech, leading to many hilarious scenarios. It’s being shot mainly at beach locales and is set to a dual backdrop of Kerala’s fishery community and the new wave of tourism that interacts with it.
It is being directed by Salaam Bappu and is being produced by Muhammad Haneef under the banner of Red Rose Creations. It’s written by K P Riyas.
