Race Gurram... First Blockbuster of the Year?

We are already into the fourth month of the New Year. Telugu Cinema is yet to score the first blockbuster of 2014. Yevadu and Legend have done commercially well, but they can't be tagged with blockbuster status. In fact Legend still has a long way to go to attain hit status. So reaching blockbuster status is out of reach for it.  

Race Gurram is the next big release which is all set to hit the marquee on April 11th. Can this be the first blockbuster of the year? Race Gurram can be termed as a blockbuster if it makes into the fifty crore club. Allu Arjun's Julayi collected just over Rs. 40 crore share and it is the biggest hit of Bunny till date. 

 It is not easy for Race Gurram to enter fifty crore club. It will have to get unanimous positive talk and withstand against all the odds to have a strong run for fifteen to twenty days. Race Gurram is a perfect entertainer for the summer season and it is up to the unit to cash in on it. The coast is clear for the film and it is Bunny's best chance to break into the big league.
