Bangalore Days Wedding Song Out!
The hugely anticipated movie Bangalore Days directed by Anjali Menon
is all set for its release on May 9 and now they have released the video
of one of its songs titled Maangalyam! The apt title shows an
intriguing part of the movie which is Nazriya getting ready for her
wedding with her mehndi and Dulquar showing up to celebrate with her.
As he glances around the decorations and bustling relatives, he finds an excited, clean shaven Nivin Pauly already there taping the joyous affair on his handy cam. The two friends hug each other and then, on seeing Dulquar, a thrilled Nazriya too runs to him, hugs him (much to the chagrin of her family) and here begins our song!
Though the family is a little concerned with the obvious display of friendship between the three, the jubilant trio soon turn them around and the song winds in to pure, spirited and of course, dancing, festivity. The choreography has been well executed and conceived and the visuals are ‘fresh’ and colourful.
The song has definitely found its fans and is already ruling the charts in Mollywood this week, and quite cleverly has done its part in building up an intrigue about the plot – is it a story about a friendship that defies odds or as advertised, does it take a turn for the romantic?
Guess we have to wait for the big day… and sincerely hope the release of Kochadaiiyaan on the same day doesn’t hurt this one’s opening day collections – though in Kerala, one can see Dulquar, Nazriya and Nivin making a strong stand against the animated Superstar himself!
