Gamer to be a Classic Thriller
M.R. Anoop Raj’s ‘Gamer’ which marks the onscreen debut of
Devadevan, son of veteran actor Vijayaraghavan, is rumoured to be a
classic thriller with nail biting twists and turns.
The story revolves around three friends Allu, played by Devadevan, Surya and Omar who happens to meet a strange and unnerving old man named Zacharia (Nedumudi Venu) and a young woman named Sisily. When two cops, ACP Zakir Ali and CI Abraham Koshy, join the plot for an investigation, the pace picks up. Soon they realize that they are playing a game of minds with each other and the audience is brought to the edge of their chairs, so to speak.
The movie is being produced by Tommy and Sanu under the banner of Black Panther Productions with Shaheen Abbas composing the tunes.
The supporting cast includes Arjun, Jagadeesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Basil, Krishnamkumar and Henna Bella. With such a cast relative rookies in the industry, one has to hope that the plot and talent can keep the attention of the fans, especially since the film relies heavily on suspense.
Nedumudi’s character which is pivotal to the plot is said to be a charismatic and clever construct.
