Shobhana Stars in ‘Pavada’
Shobhana, who had been all but retired from mainstream cinema and
completely involved in her dance career, made a comeback last year in
Vineeth Sreenivasan’s ‘Thira’ starring his brother Dhyan Sreenivasan.
The movie, which had her playing an important role, was a critical and
commercial success.
Now, Shobhana is set to repeat that success by taking on another important role in Marthandan’s second directorial attempt ‘Pavada’ produced by Maniyanpilla Raju. The movie also has leading men like Prithviraj and Biju Menon in equally prominent roles. Nedumudi Venu and Raju himself are to form the supporting cast in the film.
Bipin Chandran wrote the script for this flick and given that his previous work, like ‘Best Actor’ and ‘1983’ were hits, the fans certainly have something to look forward to.
Though nothing is known about the actual plot of the movie so far, ‘Pavada’ is already getting some buzz in Mollywod and among the viewers. The shooting is reported to start around the end of July in Thodupuzha.
