Aamir Khan explains the idea behind doing Dhoom 3

The third installment to the celebrated Dhoom series, Dhoom3 may have opened to mixed reviews and criticism, but the film went on to collect as much as 277 Crores in a span of just two weekends. The reason is unanimous and single – Aamir Khan.
Aamir essayed a negative role in the sequel, portraying twin brothers Samar and Sahir. The audience was hooked with his intense role as twins with two different personalities. Aamir’s negative role in Dhoom 3 dominated the entire proceedings in the film. Aamir opened up to the media about his take on his choosing to do the coveted villain.
“I don’t want to limit myself as an actor. It should not be like, ‘he will do only logical stuff, or only films with a social message’. I don’t want to limit myself. I want to do all different kinds of films” Aamir said.
When asked about which of the twins he liked playing the best, the actor replied with warmth – “I personally liked Samar more. Actually, the film is about two brothers’ love story. We didn’t reveal that aspect before the film’s release. Maximum people have liked Samar more, and some, Sahir” he stated.
Dhoom 3 saw audience going enthralled with Aamir’s sensational acting. The perfectionist proved that he was up for anything as a talent. Way to go, Aamir!
