Uday Kiran commits suicide
Actor Uday Kiran, who rose to fame with Telugu superhit movie Chitram, allegedly committed suicide yesterday night. The actor hanged himself at his apartment at Srinagar Colony. His wife immediately rushed him to the Apollo Hospital at Jubilee Hills upon discovering Uday’s impulsive resort. However, the attempt proved futile.
Uday Kiran debuted in Tollywood as a romantic Hero, with Chitram directed by Teja. He later followed delivering continuous hits like Nuvvu Nenu and Manasantha Nuvve. The actor was about to be engaged to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter in the crucial phase of his life, while riding success. However, the proposal fell apart when it was later discovered that Uday was in relationship with another girl.
There was a huge downswing in Uday’s career post that, and he could not make a mark with any of his films. Three of his movies bombed in Tamil and Uday made a comeback in 2013 with Jai Sriram in Telugu.
The reasons for his impulsive decision to suicide are still unknown. There are shock waves rippling now in the industry and more updates to be received soon.
