Aamir Khan’s eyes on 1 Nenokkadine
Mahesh Babu starrer psychological thriller may or may not have
sunk in with the audience in Telugu, but the Sukumar directorial
definitely caught the attention of Bollywood – Mr Perfectionist, to be
precise.
As per the latest ongoing buzz in the inner circles, Aamir Khan is keen on remaking the film into Hindi, with himself starring in the lead role. This is not the first time for either Aamir or Bollywood to be smitten with South Films. Ghajini was well made into Hindi with Aamir reprising Suriya’s landmark role as 15 minute amnesiac. Aamir sure has fondness fr thrillers, looking at his list that also includes mystery thrillers like Talaash. The perfect actor loves to play and dabble with various roles, breaking the cliche.
It will be interesting to see Aamir do a Hindi version of 1 Nenokkadine. This only proves that the film had interesting content, enough to be considered for a remake, that too by someone who is tough to be impressed like Aamir.
Mahesh continues to rule the overseas market with good turnout and response. Sukumar’s film was a positive step towards trying something new in Tollywood. The fruits of labor seemed to have paid off, one way or the other!
