Jaane Tu Ya jaane Na
The movie was a sweet and simple love tale of two best buddies – Jai and Aditi. Abbas Tyrewala’s execution of a beaten to death story was new. Keeping the humour intact in every frame, he could tell the story of Jai and Aditi impressively. Jai and Aditi have their respective checklists for the kind of partners they wanted and end up in realizing that they are made for each other.  The platonic love sprinkled with neat humour and soulful music by A.R.Rahman made it a very cute rom-com.

Cheeni Kum
An unusual love story between a 64yr man and a 34 yr woman! The pair is no different. There is fun, there is possessiveness, and there are petty fights too. The chemistry between Sr.Bacchan and Tabu makes it much more amusing. Zohra Sehgal, as the mother of Amitabh is adorable. Paresh Rawal played Tabu’s father and his confrontation with the prospective son-in-law who is elder to him was hilarious.  Balki’s writing is impeccable.

Ishq
One of the funniest movies of Bollywood, Ishq had the best ensemble cast to tickle your funny bone. Ishq was a typical Indra Kumar’s execution but the comic sequences were well taken. There are plenty of waggish scenes like Aamir Khan crossing cable running over two buildings and the slap-stick comedy at the statue shop. The songs by Anu Malik went hand-in-hand with the movie’s comic feel.
